The Dynamics 365 Team Members license is for organizations that have a large percentage of users who might consume data or reports from line-of-business systems—or perform simple tasks like entering time sheets or updating HR records—but don’t require full user capabilities.
The Dynamics 365 Team Members license is a named user subscription designed for users whose jobs aren’t necessarily tied to a function but who still need to use the basic functionality of a line-of-business system. This license gives users lightweight access through designated scenarios built into the Team Member experience.
Dynamics 365 Team Members for Government (Governmental Community Cloud Pricing) provides all the functionality of its enterprise counterpart (Dynamics 365 Team Members) but is hosted in a separate, secured environment and adds compliance features like accreditations, personnel screening, and data residency that enable the service to meet the unique needs of US Government customers. State and local government customers that require compliance-level data protection and security can also take advantage of Dynamics 365 Team Members for Government (Governmental Community Cloud Pricing).
Eligibility and Validation: Government plans are available to (1) qualified government entities, including US federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial government entities, and (2) other entities (subject to validation of eligibility) who handle data subject to government regulations and requirements, where use of Government is appropriate to meet these regulations and requirements.
